Do I really?Do I really need to get up? Do I really need to act social today? Do I really need to go to work today? Do I really really have to? Are the questions we ask ourselves every morning. We don't really want to go out there when it's so comfy in our warm beds. It gets harder to get up in the morning when the temperature drops. Don't you just want to cocoon yourself in your blankets and pillows, and not even bother with a shower? The water is too cold anyway. But who will bring you food?
Your ThoughtsThe ideas on what I could possibly write about usually gets me right up, that, and what to make for breakfast. A Banana and Peanut Butter sandwich? Waffles? Eggs and Turkey Bacon? The thoughts of how I can present my articles; and deciding how to make my breakfast, get my wheels turning and gives me the boost I need to literally step out of bed. Plus you know what they always say "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day," so if you're excited for it, it's bound to be good!
Get ExcitedConvince yourself to get that ass out of bed, and get excited for what comes after the boring stuff. The reasons why we don't want to get up in the morning is because, one, it's too damn cold and two, it's too damn comfy not to stay in. And the reasons why you should get up is because, one, it's what pays the bills and for your Netflix account, two, it's good for your health to get your body moving, and three, it makes you smile and feel good, lights up a fire in you, and keeps your passion train going.
Now doesn't the latter over powers why you should?
What gets you up in the morning and keeps your passion train going? The idea of coffee? Breakfast? Your To-do List? How about some comfy pants?
