Fun in Basics

Simplicity is a state of being simple, easily understood and uncomplicated. It is what most men wish women were, simple and uncomplicated.

That man reference up there is completely irrelevant to the entire post, but it was just a thought that randomly breezed into my mind and out through my fingers. Do you guys get those?

17 hours after my sisters bridal shower and all I can say is that my entire body feels so sore, after walking around, running up and down the stairs, and constantly cleaning up during the shower. It felt like a success. Trying to keep the decorations simple and fun, and with the theme colors, purple and white, we spent about three hours setting everything up and deciding where everything should go. I'm pretty proud of how all of it turned out.

We dressed up our little havanese in a cute purple ribbon, until he fussed to much and eventually fell off.

It took almost two and a half hours to finish this background for a small photo booth we had during the shower, and obviously, I took the opportunity to take photos of my very simple outfit while it was unoccupied. 

My sister wanted all her guests to wear something comfy and simple, so we went for the very basic white tee and blue jeans.

I'm trying to keep the promise to myself by posting on a Friday. So I'm trying to write this post during the toastmasters training, and trying not to get caught by our club mentor, or else he'll have my head.
