Winter Blues

January 5, 2015

About a year ago I had a little obsession with Polyvore.com. When I say obsessed, I'd like to say that I was on it 24/7 for 6 months straight. Nope, when I say obsessed, I mean I was on it 24/7 for just a week, 6 months is just too long if you think about it. At the time, I had recently bought a blue dress from F21, so I decided to play around with a similar blue dress I found on polyvore, and came up with the Winter Blues

After compiling this together I said to myself, "I need a white long sleeved crop, NOW!" So I went out and bought it months later, and I've been waiting almost a year to physically compile the outfit together and shoot it to death.

I think it looks pretty good out of the collage, don't you?

How is everyone doing? All good I hope!
Keep those smiles bright and those morning stretches long, winter isn't over yet, there's still time to hibernate. :)

Chairish's Vintage

November 28, 2014
I've recently gotten back into polyvore. It's such a fun website for styling random outfits and designing rooms. One can spend hoooours on there just clicking the next button on the jewelry tab, while trying to find the right necklace to go with the Christmas outfit you just picked out.

I know Christmas isn't until 26 days – who's counting anyways – but I just get too excited with the Christmas colors, decorations and the lights – especially the lights, I mean do you see all those bright flashing colors? Doesn't it make you feel all jolly inside?

Anyways, I decided to get an early start on my Christmas party outfit. Having bought a maroon midi skirt a few weeks back – I haven't worn it yet by the way, I'm still waiting for the right moment to bring it out into the world – I thought it was the perfect skirt to wear to a Christmas party. It's not too short, not too long, and the maroon color can have a Christmasy feel to it.

Christmas Party Outfit

I paired the skirt with a green sweater and some ankle strap pumps. And of course some statement jewelry from Chairish's new vintage items to brighten up the entire outfit. I genuinely adore the ruby earrings, they are absolutely gorgeous. And the blue velvet bag, also from Chairish, that looks so soft and perfect for the wintery christmasy feel, don't you all think? I adore it.

Check out Chairish's Vintage items. Some of their stuff are to die for!
Have you all thought about your Christmas party outfit yet?
 Have a jolly day everyone!
