Friday Finds: April 11 2014

April 11, 2014
Happy Friday everyone!!

Friday Finds is a bookish meme hosted by MizB from Should be reading, which showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

For this week, some how MizB didn't have a friday finds post on her blog...but I'm going to do it anyways, because it's fun!

This week I found, or well, it found me. A book that has been getting all the hype from the new adult romance section of the book-nerd library.

Reasonable Doubt by Whitney Garcia Williams.

Synopsis: My cock has an appetite.
A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar...(Although, that's a story for another day.)
As a high profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.
My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.
This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.
At least it was , until "Alyssa"...
She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.
But then she came into my firm for an interview--a college-interninterview, and everything fucking changed...

What I mean by the book finding me is that, my sister Najla Qamber Designs, designed the book cover. Before the production of the cover, my sister sent me the synopsis of the book, and my jaw just dropped when I read it. So much for being blunt about what the book was about.

It kind of reminds me of Beautiful Bastard, but we'll see when I pick it up and start reading.

So far, there was so much hype about it when it released. People said it was so good, it was amazing, it was so erotic, so sexy, and just freaking good enough to spend an hour or two on. I am looking forward to reading Reasonable Doubt pretty soon. Would you?

What did you guys find this week?
Happy Reading!
