DIY Leave in Conditioner for Curly Hair
January 19, 2016
As you go through the blog, you'll notice that I have pretty curly hair, I mean how can you not notice it's pretty out there. I used to have long curly hair that was about half way down my back and maintaining it was always a challenge through the years. I went through quite a bit of hair products, I was what others called a product junkie, from oil's to leave in's to deep conditioner's that would sometimes leave my hair too moisturized leave me with that flat look, and sometimes would do absolutely nothing because the product wouldn't be strong enough. So, one day, I decided to make my own. I was done with all those branded hair products that make my hair feel more damaged than healthy, I was done with spending 30 minutes doing my hair, DONE!
DIY Leave in Conditioner for Curly Hair
This is a quick and easy Leave in Conditioner that contains mostly natural products that would help your curly hair get the moisture it needs.
Ingredients
Ingredients
2 tbls Conditioner (any conditioner of your choice, most preferably for curly hair)
1 tbls Coconut Oil
1 tbls Honey
1 tbls Argan Oil
2 tbls Water
5 drops of Essential Oils (scent of your choice, preferably something fresh)
Procedure
Add in all the ingredients and then stir until fully combined. Note: If the mixture feels too wet, then add more conditioner or honey. If it feels too thick, then add a few drops of water.
Once combined, transfer it onto a container or bottle; be them recycled or brand new, and you're done! It's pretty simple.
Now you can apply this leave-in evenly through your damp hair, preferably after you shower.
This recipe can last for about 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how many times you decide to wash your hair through the week.

This Leave in Conditioner literally saved my hair after I cut it into a bob. It keeps my hair moisturized, tamed, and flexible to style it any way I want to every morning. But honestly, I just leave it down and messy because my hair likes to roll that way.
Give this DIY Leave-in Conditioner a try and let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear your feedback.
Don't forget to flip your fabulous hair back and forth!

Basic Valentines Eye Makeup
February 12, 2015
Valentine's day is this weekend and honestly, all I really care about is the Fifty Shades of Grey movie coming out. My curiosity to see how this movie will turn out is killing me. Is anyone else feeling this way? Only me? Okay, moving on.
So whether you're going out with your significant other or with your best girlfriends for a night out, I thought I'd show you a very simple makeup look inspired by the pinks and dark pinks of Valentine's day. Makeup ideas are something I've always wanted to try out for the blog and I'm pretty excited about it.
This is a very simple look that now that I see it looks like nothing much. It's all about going O'Natural for Valentine's day to show your significant other the real you, kind of.
I used two shades from my delicious Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. Strawberry Bon Bon to cover my entire eyelid, and Cherry Cordial to put some depth into my crease. I added some liquid liner, mascara, and a natural pink lip and done!
| Shadow - Too Faced Chocolate Bar | Mascara - Maybelline's Colossal Cat Eye |
| Eye Liner - Maybelline's Master Precise Liquid Liner | Lipstick - Revlon's Rosy Nude |
I believe if you're going on a date or something similar to a date – if there is such an event – one should take the natural road and I don't mean barefaced if you're not into that, keep it simple. Too much makeup can scare people sometimes, even yourself when you look into the mirror. I scared myself a couple of times with the number of weird shadow combinations that I randomly try out.
What type of makeup looks have you all been wearing lately?
I'd love to know! :)

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Review
July 18, 2014
This product review has been drafted ages ago, and I just remembered it. Since I'm going slow on my laptop for the next few days, I didn't want to overwhelm it with photoshop. Anyways...
Finally, a proper eye shadow palette. Those 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 eye shadow palette are just so annoyingly limited, and I am grateful for my fabulous cousin for buying this awesome yummy palette for my birthday a few months back. Thank you so much.
The moment I got this palette and opened it, the whiff of chocolate mocha essence flew out of there like a roasting chicken on a stick, or freshly cooked french fries for all of you vegetarians & vegans reading this. Excuse my chicken reference.
This is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eye shadow palette. It's got 10 shimmer shades and 6 matte shades, including the two wide highlighter shade. The eye shadow is made from 100% natural mocha powder. which results to the aroma of chocolate mocha when the eye shadow is applied. Sadly, the eye shadow is not edible.

I use this palette for almost every toastmaster meeting and for some special occasions. I absolutely love it. It's very convenient since its filled with neutral everyday colors that you can mix up with any other colored eyeshadow, it's a great basic palette!
I recommend this to very young woman out there who is hunting down for her first little palette, and of course to those who adore the aroma of chocolate floating from your eyes. I love it!

Greetings

Hello there!
I want to personally welcome you to the first entry of "Nada más que amor", which translates to "Nothing but love" in Spanish. Now, I don't know that much of Spanish, but I know it well enough to understand that my given name, "Nada" means "nothing" in Spanish; and because my family constantly said that my name had the meaning of nothing since I was a child. With that, I developed the blog name! :)
With my previous blog, Interested in ALL, being all that it is, and all that is has become for the past few years, it felt like I outgrew it all, and that I needed something more. I felt the need for a change of scenery, a change of purpose. So, I started a Nada más que amor to fulfill my need for this change. And here it is, I have officially migrated from Interested in ALL, to my new home.
What to expect from Nada más que amor? Despite the change, I've had a craving for a proper platform to widen my horizons with my personal style and my love for books, food and all that jazz, and I wanted Nada más que amor to be that place. A blog where personal stylish outfits, books and sometimes food, beauty, DIY, and venting posts can be found. And of course, my aim for this blog is for it to be surrounded by love; or at least positivity.
The fun childish feeling of playing dress up. The craving for an escape between the pages of a book. The tingling of ones tastebud when a sweet savory dish has been tasted. These are are a few of my favourite things that bring love into my life. Because love is the only way to go.
